I’m not sure what I need. Is that okay?
Absolutely. Start with what feels frustrating, repetitive, or harder than it should be. A rough idea is welcome too. The first review and a suggested next step are free. If figuring it out needs a deeper investigation, you’ll get a fixed price for that before any paid work begins.
What if my task isn’t on the menu?
Send it over. The menu shows common examples, and there’s room for all sorts of digital work. You’ll get a clear answer about what’s possible and an agreed price before deciding. If a request isn’t a good fit for the studio, you’ll hear that upfront.
How do the prices work?
The listed price covers the scope shown when you open a task. Your specific request is reviewed before payment. You’ll receive the total price, what’s included, and any required outside costs, such as a paid app or hosting. Extra work only happens after you approve an updated price.
Can I send a whole list of things?
Yes. Send the list, even if it’s a little messy. You’ll get help putting it in a useful order and an itemized proposal, so you can choose what to tackle now and what can wait.
How soon can I get help?
The delivery date is confirmed after the request and any necessary access are reviewed. Have a deadline? Mention it at the start so the work can be checked against it. You’ll know what’s realistic before committing.
Will I need to buy new software?
Often, the tools you already use are a good place to start. Any recommended new subscription or outside cost is explained before you decide. Wherever practical, websites, files, and connections stay in accounts you control.
What if I’d like something changed?
One round of adjustments within the agreed scope is included. If the delivery doesn’t work as agreed, flag it within seven days for a correction. A new direction, additional features, or extra material gets a separate price before that work starts.
What should I share to get started?
A few sentences, a website link, or a redacted example is plenty. There’s no need to prepare a polished brief. For work that needs private files or account access, the right transfer method and permissions are agreed before you share them. Please leave passwords and sensitive records out of the initial request.
Can I come back for more help later?
Of course. Bring another small task, the next stage of a project, or a fresh list. Follow-up work is scoped and priced when you need it, with no monthly commitment. Ongoing maintenance is something to discuss separately.
Do I need to be in Portland?
No. Little Fix Studio is based in Portland, and the work can be handled remotely. Local businesses and businesses farther afield are equally welcome.
